Crispy Smashed Potatoes That Are Tender On The Inside, Seasoned With Lemon Butter And Herbs

Tender on the center and super crispy on the outside! These are so delicious and addictive! A must to try 😋



Ingredients

1.5-2lbs of small potatos

2/4 cup butter

Zest of 1 lemon

Salt & pepper

Herb of choice

Olive oil


Directions

1) Wash and dry 1.5 lb of small potato’s


2) Boil for about 10 mins In salted water until fork tender. Once done, remove and towel blot dry off the excess water.


3) melt 1/4 cup of butter with the zest of a lemon, this will be used to season the potato’s.

4) Now it is time to smash! Take anything you like, a bowl, a glass etc and smash away! Then lay them onto a parchment lined baking sheet.

5) Drizzle the potato’s with a good quality olive oil, season with salt and pepper and any other spices of choice (dry oregano , chili flakes etc) and bake for 10-15 mins 450fh (232 Celsius)

6) remove from oven, drizzle with lemon butter and flip and repeat seasoning with a last drizzle of lemon butter for the last bake! Another 10-15 mins until golden crispy!

7) They are now baked to perfection! It’s time to plate , add a last drizzle of lemon butter and enjoy!!! 😋
