Ultimate Game Day Meatball Subs For Super Bowl Sundays

This is an easy game night meal that can be prepared in 1 hr tops including prep.
Ingredients (this recipe makes a total of 7 subs- 21 meatballs)
2 large eggs
450 grams (0.45 k) Lean ground beef
450 grams (0.45 k) Lean ground veal
1.5 cups of milk
3 cups of breadcrumbs
1 cup of grated parmesean
A handful of chopped parsley
Submarine bread
Directions
1) Crack the eggs and adding to the minced meat bowl.

2) Add the milk to the breadcrumbs and mix well , then add the grated Parmesan and chopped parsley.

3) Once mixture is combined, add to the meat and egg bowl and mix by hand. You should have a consistency that is more moist for a juicier tender meatball.

Tip: you can adjust the ingredients as desired to your liking!
4) Shape into balls and pantry in oil until golden brown all around. They should remain tender in the center if you fry on medium heat until a crust forms on all sides.

Time to assemble!
5) Remove the inside of the sub bread. This will ensure the meatballs nestle in and once closed do not get smashed.

6) coat the meatballs in a marinara sauce and place 3 inside the sub. Coat with a bit more sauce on the opposite side of the sub. Add sliced mozzarella and close the sub and place on a baking sheet.

7) Once all subs are made (fyi this recipe will make 7 subs with 3 meatballs each) you will bake at 400fh (205 Celsius) until the cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
8) Once baked, garnish with chopped parsley and enjoy this tender juicy meatball sub bursting with classic Italian flavours ! All while watchingyor sport of choice 🏈 🏒 ⚽️
